Why I would do the glitch (ie what fun is there in that)

The same reason you hate grinding is the same reason I would do it.

I do not want to have to “grind” in a shooter game just to play on the same damn level as everyone else. I do not want my bb gun while the enemy has a rapid fire laser blaster just because he spent 60 hours a week grinding (as he has nothing better to do).

If I can save myself having to “grind” by just spending 1 hour repairing a jeep, then I can spend the rest of my free time (say an hour or two a week) actually having fun, Im good with that.

A better option would be not making people do work to play a game on their free time.
