Luke, I think the main reason you like Avatar, Despite disliking Anime in general, is because it's not.

Written by americans (and canadians, who are just americans in denial), for an (awful) american channel, voiced by americans, in america. And animated in Korea. ... like 99% of the rest of the world's cartoons at this point.

Korea's entire economy seems to hinge on animation, starcraft, and hookers. What a magical wonderland that place must be! Surely everyone rides unicorns across rainbow bridges from red-light district game shops to red-light animation studios!

40 Year Old Virgin wasn't as funny as people claimed it was, but it was still fun. The best parts were spoiled in the trailers, though.

Muppets far exceed awesome. Awesome is too mortal a word for muppets. Mawesome? Can muppets be mawesome? I don't know if that works.

O has an amazing ending. Gut wrenching ending. The rest of the film is good too, but good god the ending. That's how Othello is supposed to be delivered.

Titus on the other hand. WTF indeed. That was one messed up movie.

For all the Red Dwarf fans out there, they just had a new special called "Back to Earth" over Easter weekend. I think the whole major Series 8 cast is back: Dave Barrie (Rimmer), Craig Charles (Lister), Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) and Danny John-Jules (Cat) are definitely all back, and I think the actor who played the original Holly and the actress who played Kochanski in the later episodes is there too.

Oh, and Adam apparently confused "46 years ago this September" with "1946" when mentioning how long Doctor Who has been on the air. It's old, it's not *that* old.
