More details:

I’m sending you this message in the hopes that you’ll partner with myself and World Vision again this year for my third annual Christmas fundraiser. This year I’m going to depart from the “cow” theme of the prior two years and ask for your help raising money for the rehabilitation and restoration of child soldiers and sexually exploited children. For $75 World Vision can provide many resources to children who have been virtually destroyed. I’d like us to help 20 such children. Based on the number of people I’m inviting to participate, if everyone I invite donates an average of $20 this goal will be met but donations of any size are welcome.

Below is a link to a four-minute video on YouTube that was put together by a friend of mine (Paul Bettings) who has travelled extensively and documented first-hand some of the worst circumstances children are in. The video tells the story of an 11 year-old girl named Elise who was once a sex-worker but is in the process of getting her life back thanks to World Vision’s efforts.

This episode made me laugh out loud and get odd looks from the people working around me. Good stuff.

A long time ago on another show you guys talked about GNS aka creative agenda and didn’t really get it. This show you’ve basically become hippies. Welcome. You basically are talking about Gamism, and when you talk about friends who wouldn’t play this way well, not getting invited, that’s basically what is meant by people who have preferences for an agenda. I really found this show interesting as a way to explain things minus eggheadism. Thanks.

By the way, did anyone talk to you about self publishing versus going with a publisher for your game? I’ve got a definitely opinionated perception of what is best. Feel free to email me.

Thanks, Clyde. We don’t stay hippies long, though, you’ll find. ;)

Re: Hodge. Is this the same Chris Engler who played in my DRYH game at Hammercon?
