There are a ton of video games that have come out this pre-holiday season, including a number that are considered must-haves by gamers across the globe.
Moving through mid November, I thought few things could top my experience with Fallout 3, which had solidly taken hold of my ‘game of the year’ spot. I couldn’t have been more wrong, though.
Left4Dead isn’t a complicated game. It pits 4 people against a horde of undead, populated by both normal zombies and special ‘boss’ zombies. Besides the co-op, it has a Vs. mode in which actual people fill the rolls of the boss zombies.
Playing this tonight, in both Vs. mode and regular co-op, has been the most fun I’ve had playing video games in months, easily.
Whether you get it on Steam or on the 360, I consider this game the most fun since Portal.
Act accordingly.

First!
…and I heartily agree. Left 4 Dead has been some of the most fun multiplayer PC gaming action I’ve had in quite some time. It’s a shame you got it on the 360, Luke… now I can’t barf on you.
Nor can I barf on you in the game.
