The 200 in 200 Proposition

June 5th, 2012 · 6 Comments

The 200 in 200 Proposition

By now, we’ve all seen that Jenn got Wil Wheaton for her episode 100. She and I
had been talking about what to do for our 200 and now that she’s busted out that
gem I can’t justify not doing it because it’s going to take some work to pull
off.

So, here’s my proposition:

I want to do 200 interviews in 200 minutes. The logistics of doing that live
would be a nightmare, so we’d want to tone it back to pre-recorded interviews
with various pockets of people. 1 minute per person on the mic and all
answering the same question in a roundtable sort of way. So, if you’ve got 4
people roundtabling around the mics, you’ve got 4 minutes of audio.

The question to be discussed is this:

What would you say to The Podge Cast in farewell?

The clips should be structured in an introduction (promote yourself!) and then
answering the question format. Obviously, it’s pretty hard to start or stop on
the exact minute mark for each show, so I’ll leave it to your discretion on how
to get on or NEAR the minute mark for your number of hosts.

I’m going to have to do some pretty intense organization on this, so the earlier
you can let me know and get me the files, the better, obviously.

I don’t expect the submissions to be very large, so you can probably shoot an mp3 (or equivalent audio type) over to adam@ podgecast.com (mind the spacing) and I’ll get them.

Voice Mail Instructions
Tony Mast has graciously offered to forward over any voice mails from his Google number. If you don’t have a clean way to record, you can call 618.207.4794 and leave us a voice mail!

If you don’t want the long distance charges, you can go to backseatproducers.com, click the “CALL ME” button on the left hand side, and Google Voice will call YOU and you can leave us a voice mail that way free of charge!

Thanks!
