Luke, I'm glad you agree with my idea and I can't wait to hear the "impressions" episode. Most podcasts I've heard review 4e has been full of information based on one session or a scim of the rulebook. I think the longer you wait and continue to play, the more informed the cast will be.

Asylos, I agree that a module recap could be interesting, but as Luke said, I wouldn't want it spoiled. I'm sure KotS will be run for me at some point and the best way, in my opinion, not to meta-game is to not have that knowledge to begin with. As for your experience with KotS, I have heard that the module can be pretty deadly for a full group. It sounds like your DM should've scaled back the encounters for less players. Most adventures for 4e I've read have rules for this included and it could've made for a more balanced experience.

@Jonathon: I think you have a good idea there with summarizing events at the end of the episode. We'll likely implement that in coming games.

As for KotS, we're planning to do more of a 'impressions of 4e' episode than anything regarding the module. Our goal is not to spoil it.

Our big issue is that we haven't recorded because we've been wanting to press on further into the module!

I think a module will work fine for a recap. It's amazing what can happen as you're trying to get through the dungeony bits.

We finally finished KotS, and I've gotta say, with three players? The GM has to keep trying not to kill us. Being short two people to do actions or act as targets really sucks.

This was an excellent series, in many ways more interesting than actual play. Though I can't speak for others, I would love to hear more campaign recaps in the future. I know Adam is currently running Keep on the Shadowfell, but a module wouldn't work for this sort of thing. The next sandbox game would be great, though. You've got to hand it to Luke, as you can tell from the recordings how great the game was and how invested the players were.

I only have one suggestion. In the future, I think it would be helpful if the GM would recap the major events of each session at the end of the recording. Sometimes things would get confusing with everyone talking at once and sometimes jumping ahead in the story (Phil).
